time traveller adjustment agent

the only time boxes that aren't single use are the ones used by the time traveller adjustment agents.
if you see one, don't move, don't run, don't make any motions. you can't escape.
they will be there to find you wherever you go.

madam quint

she runs a hostel for waylaid children

Occasionally, I paint postcards and send them across the country. If you'd like one, just shoot me an email! I love seeing where they end up.

My dear friend Andrew posted his with some fanart:

ezekiel reads a map

ezekiel often finds himself misreading maps, most often because they are upside down. but that is another metaphor.

the time machine

O, she said, I must be living with far too many regrets
because the only stories I read are about time travel
and in my dreams I only travel backwards--

there will be a few more, then radio silence til it's done!

a few cat postcards

three, indeed.

a cover for a story

I write a lot of short stories these days- I'm always unsure of how to weave them into my blog. Until I figure out a platform, here's a cover for a story I've been working on about love, broken hearts, and spaceships from Ganymede.

My very first book!

My book that I wrote/co-illustrated for JibJab Jr came out recently! Hopefully over the coming weeks I can post some concept art and process work from it. It's been a long journey (I went back through my files and realised that the first ideas for it came about sometime in October!), and I'm so glad it's out in the world.
It's a book about pirates, mermaids, and a whole whack of undersea creatures. I wanted to write a story about a spunky little girl who wants to help in any way she can, and hopefully I succeeded, even a little bit. I can't wait to write more :)

(PS, it's quite fun if you put a handsome man's photo in place of your face... I'm partial to watching George Clooney outsmart the pirates... so handsome)
